Those hydrastreem were one of the fastest production hulls ever. They did some crazy stuff like taking a 16' cutting it in half adding a mid section to create a 21' different model. Super fast and strong we have a lot of them down there on the bayou in the swamp

Yup! You made a good buy! 👍. I just did the exact same thing; bought a Hydrostream Viper from a guy in AR. Drove 800 mile round trip to fetch her. Same color as that Vector. He claims that the boat is unbelievably quick, with a Merc 2.5 strapped on with a 28P cleaver. Can’t wait to run her this AM!! 😁

Good job, I like the battery mount…KISS ! I have an old 1648 I need to get cleaned up, and do some mods too. I want to pull the 25 hp Rude & 15” transom off, and fab up a 20” transom to mount a 75 hp Stinger. I just ordered a G2 1860. It’s going to get a Johnson V-4 60 degree looper 90 hp, and a jack-plate. I bet you could have got another MPH or two without that bimini top sticking straight up.

When you gone slap a motor on that thing ? Been watching for a video things gonna be sick. I been running my 670 1436 on James river. Hit a few rocks tho dented it up. You think a lighter motor would do less damage ? Or all the same. Battery fuel up front. I want a havoc things are indestructible 😂

OMG youre using Quicksilver oil. Let me enlighten you on Torco GP-7. Your engine will run better, plugs will last longer, and there wont be any smoke. I used it in my Black Max and my Jetskis when i raced them, my X2 loved it.
